HTC Desire 616 its really good a best middle range phones but one disadvantage is jelly bean and im waiting for the update of the kitkat version,,plzz update overall is good
Awesome phone must buy .BIGGEST THING IT HAS FM PLEASE CORRECT THIS FEATURE.AWESOME PHONE WITH OCTACORE PROCESSOR
No update for 4.4 kitkat
I purchased this phone on 19-July-2014 for Rs16300/- from a local dealer at that time price of this phone was Rs18599/- at flipkart.
Anyhow, coming back to the phone:
Octa Core Processor
Amazing Camera Quality even front camera is awesome.
A very good display
Good Battery Backup
1 GB RAM ( Though I didn't faced any issues with 1 GB RAM but if they would have provided 2 GB RAM that would have been much better)
Bit Glossy ( If you want to buy phone in white color then it would not be an issue)
Speakers ( Low sound as compared to other Chinese phones)
Android 4.2.2 ( HTC should have provided Kitkat )
This is a must buy phone much better than moto-g. If you're looking for a good quality phone with killer looks & with a good brand name then go for HTC DESIRE 616.
And for all those people out there who starts comparing good brands like HTC with mircomax, lava & gionee please stop doing it.
useless piece from HTC.
No os update, no battery life, no support from HTC cust care... good for 3-4 yrs old kids to play some video..
Please read carefully. It's long but worth it.
I'm a tech savvy student and was a huge fan of HTC until a few months ago. My first android was a HTC Wildfire. It turned from a good to a terrible phone in 6 months. I still loved HTC. I went ahead and bought it's flagship phone, the One X+. It had the best specs that time, 64 GB internal memory, beats audio, 1.7 Ghz quad core Nvidia processor (fastest that time). I was impressed by the phone. Lag free, didn't hang, everything was perfect Until one day when HTC made a public statement that the One X+ won't get any updates(the M7 was shortly launched before the announcement). So here I was, stuck on Android 4.2.1 when even budget phones had Kitkat. I still have the phone today and regret it. HTC and Nvidia played the blame game against each other and the end consumer suffered.
NEVER EVER go for HTC.
All HTC phones suffer from Poor battery life (after a few months) , lack of software updates. I spend a huge sum buying this phone and this is what I get. Software support for even less than a year. Stuck on old software.
HTC is a careless company, never ever keeps its old phones updated, even flagships.
It's an honest opinion folks, never go for HTC ever. Even the budget Lumia series is better than all HTC phones.
