Overall: There isn't a great deal to reveal in any review here that you haven't read already. Apple loyalists have had enough and more exposure to the unique user interface (what with its seamless integration with any/all aspects of web applications) that is ubiquitous to all its products.
If you've been totting an iPod Touch and love the way it works, you're bound to feel downright orgasmic with the iPad. More real estate, drop-dead-gorgeous looks and a massively user friendly operating system make the iPad an almost irrefutable leader among tablets.
What you may find useful here is to know that buying the iPad WiFi Cellular 4th Gen tablet is just a part of the job. Be ready and WILLING to fork out at least 3/4K more if you're looking to scratch-proof your possession as well as add a cover to your tablet. Apple's offerings for the above range from 3.8 to 4.5K for covers in eclectic colors.
And for those who would prefer to have a keyboard, invest in the latest Logitech Ultra thin Keyboard Cover (available for 8.5k at most outlets) that doubles as a wireless keyboard and stand as well as a cover for the iPad (you can pair them using Bluetooth on both devices). It seems like a steep purchase but you won't regret the investment.
Of course, getting yourself a micro-SIM is where you may hit a bottleneck, seeing as most service providers haven't even heard of the term (either that or I have the worst luck and am perennially stuck with a bunch of dimwits)
P.S: The EMI option is very convenient. If you're looking to buy your first tablet, this is a good place to start.
