Stunning Laptop Genuine Seller Great Experien

Overall: First off, kudos to KIDA Retail. I was honestly very skeptical about whether or not they would send the correct MacBook (same model number as expected). Yet, they didn't disappoint and sent me the exact same model number as listed on Amazon.in. Secondly, the discount I got on this product is unheard of elsewhere, nearly 27% off of the MSRP.
One gripe I had was the delivery time, thinking it would come the next day itself. However, I chose normal delivery, and ordered the item on 3/5/15, it arrived on 6/5/15. Apparently it takes 24 hours by flight to travel from Bhiwandi, MH to Bangalore, KA. Which makes absolutely no sense, by any mode of transport! (FYI, I know the package came by flight since the next stop was Jakkur, Bangalore - an airfield).
Lastly, the packaging was exemplary. Apart from the Amazon packaging, with their packets of air and bubble wrap, there was another box which Reddington (one of the two companies authorised to import Apple products into India; the other being Ingram Micro) - this box was made of even higher quality and thicker cardboard than the Amazon one. Then finally came the white Apple box, which was positioned in the Reddington box with very thick high quality corner padding, ensuring it wouldn't move an inch. The Apple box was covered with the usual transparent plastic, and vacuum-tight cardboard cover.
Now on to the MacBook Pro itself. The initial set-up was a bit of a pain. I opted to use the new iCloud Drive feature, and the set-up was stuck at that point itself for nearly 20 minutes. I then Googled it, and found out it's a common occurrence and I should power off the laptop and start the set-up again. However, when I went to create my user name the second time, it didn't allow me to use just "Sukrit", as I had already used it in the previous set-up. And so, "Sukrit1" was the only one allowed. (Later on, I deleted the account, and changed my name back, all was well).
After that little snafu, everything was smooth sailing from there (except for a few niggles from iCloud, Apple should really check that out!). The screen is stunning, as usual. The keyboard let's me type faster than on any other one I've tried before. Speakers are probably twice as loud and much better quality than my previous laptop. The vents on the sides are a smart idea, so I can place the laptop on the bed and not have to worry about it getting overheated. All these small things add up, and goes to show how much forethought Apple has put into this. Battery life is also great, but not 'amazing' as per Mac standards, I get maybe 6-8 hours at max with my moderate usage. I don't think I could manage to use the laptop lightly even if I tried, because WiFi is always on. And so are 3-5 apps.
Everyone who buys from Amazon, please do check your warranty date on the Apple website. This is because usually sellers do not register your product for you with Apple. Instead, you should go through the options and select the choice "provide proof of purchase" and you get an option to email Apple your details along with a copy of the invoice provided to you by Amazon. Send the PDF and within a day, Apple should reply, as they did in my case. (5 starts for customer care right off the bat!), and they /should/ verify your purchase and give you an exact date for your warranty.
For everything else about this laptop, Google is your best friend.
I hope this review was helpful for those of you who are still doubtful of buying a 1 lakh+ laptop on Amazon, from an unknown seller. However, I would strongly endorse KIDA Retail (I'm not sure about the other sellers), and I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase. As for the MacBook itself, I'll have to wait and see how it goes.
