With a pixel density of 403 ppi the display architecture generates decent viewing angles and a wide arrayed colour spectrum. It is also equipped with useful features such as accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, humidity sensor, IR gesture, proximity sensor etc. Designwise, the Zenfone 2 resembles with HTC M9, latest flagship from the Taiwanese smartphone maker. The phone comes draped in a 10.9 mm outfit and weighs 170 grams only. The most impressive feature spotted is the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the top to protect the phone from accidental damages.
The smartphone sails on the latest Android v5.0 (Lollipop) OS with the very intuitive Zen UI on the top which makes it heavily customisable, almost like CyanogenMod. The device is empowered by a quad-core processor clocked at the speed of 1.8GHz and sits on a Intel Atom Z3580 chipset. To make it more efficient, the CPU has been juxtaposed with a whooping 4GB RAM and a PowerVR G6430 GPU. The good quality processor along with a powerful RAM ensures uninterrupted multitasking and allows users to run multiple apps simultaneously, surf the web with shorter loading time, stream beautifully lag-free videos and enjoy a premium gaming experience.
Camera and Storage
The Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML is armed with an impressive 13MP autofocus rear camera with dual-colour LED flash. The much talked about dual-colour LED flash assesses the quantity of warm yellow and cool whites to emit the exact amount of light needed. This is done by analyzing the colour temperature and the entire ambience and thus, it is also very effective in low light conditions. It facilitates Full HD video recording at 30fps. The camera also comes with features like Face detection, Geo tagging and High Dynamic Range mode (HDR). The device also packs in a 5 MP front snapper which is very effective in video calling and capturing good quality selfies. In terms of storage space the device ranks high as it comes with a 32GB inbuilt memory and can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB).

The smartphone is fuelled with a good 3,000mAH Li-Po non-removable battery that delivers an average talk time and standby time on 3G. On the connectivity front, Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11, a/ac/b/g/n with hotspot, 3G, 4G LTE cat4 50, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, USB connectivity, DLNA, NFC, GPRS and EDGE.
