We know, and even have an idea, that Nokia leads in Windows Phone bandwagon. Well, it is not for any longer. Other mobile handset makers are joining too manufacturing Windows Phone mobiles. One comes from the house of ZTE.



ZTE is to launch Tania, which we heard earlier, in the Chinese market with upgraded 1.4GHz processor rather than 1GHz that was announced when the smartphone was revealed to hit the Chinese market.

The ZTE Tania will feature 4.3-inch display, 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and 5 megapixel camera. It is also presumed by analysts Tania may run on Windows Phone 7.5 Refresh codenamed Tango, the latest operating system from Microsoft and the only to support Chinese localization.

It is not clearly revealed whether the phone will be hitting the Indian stores, but it is expected ZTE will soon do so seeing the success of Nokia Windows Phone in the Indian market. Moreover, the market still needs an array of devices for the consumers to choose from.

ZTE Tania was first revealed in September last year to launch in China, but was released in Europe and now is coming to ZTE's native China. However, the actual date of its release has not yet been confirmed. Wei Xiaodong, sales director of ZTE, said the handset will reach the selves of Chinese retail stores by the end of May.
