HTC launched its first lot of Windows Phone 8, HTC 8S and HTC 8X last week. Details regarding the availability of HTC 8S is not known yet. However, HTC 8X, superior of the lot is up for pre-order now. With this HTC 8X becomes the first Windows phone 8 device to hit the Indian market.

HTC 8X is fully loaded windows phone which packs a 4.3 inch S-LCD2 screen. The phone is powered by 1.2GHz Krait Dual core processor Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon supported by Adreno 225 GPU and 1GB Ram.

Like HTC high-end Android phones, this one also comes with Beats audio integrated which enhances the music listening experience significantly. It comes loaded with 8 MP camera with Full FD video recording capabilities and 2.1 MP front camera for video calling.

HTC 8X will have to face a stiff competition from Nokia Lumia 920 which is a high-end Windows Phone 8 OS laden device. Nokia Lumia 920 sports a 4.5 inch IPS HD display dubbed as PureMotion HD display. Lumia 920 is powered by 1.5 GHz Dual core processor and poses some innovative technologies like Wireless charging, PureView camera etc. It’s the only phone in the world which can be operated with a gloves in hand.
