7 inch Android-based Tablet called ZenPad 7

Android Operating system is making way for low-cost smartphones and tablets. Micromax launched Andro A60 @ Rs. 6,500 and Intex is planning to launch an android handset at Rs. 5,500 price tag. What about tablets? Can tablets be affordable? Seems yes!

H.T Impex, a company dealing with computer peripherals and operating under the brand "ZenTheMaster", has announced the launch of ZenPad7 - A 7 inch tablet powered by Android 2.1 Operating system. The tablet has a touch-sensitive screen and enables to browse internet, read ebooks, play games, connect socially with your friends, watch movies and listen to music. The tablet comes with HDMI output which will allow you to view the multimedia content stored in the tablet in your High Definition display devices such as LCD Television.

ZenPad 7 is not to be confused with Zen Mobiles. This is not a product from Zen Mobiles. This is a product from HT Impex. ZenPad 7 would be available in all major IT Retail outlets from january 2011. The expected price for the tablet is Rs. 13,999.
