91mobiles wishes you a Happy New Year 2013

|January 1 2013 |Editorial

2012 was a remarkable year for the mobile industry. While Global industry saw the emergence of some breakthrough smartphones, Indian mobile industry also achieved impressive milestones (see Mobile industry in 2012 – a timeline).

Considering last year’s success, expectations from coming year is obviously high and we believe the industry will successfully be able to keep up with the expectations. Samsung is ready with its flexible display, Blackberry expects high from the BB10 OS and Nokia has already hinted about its aggressive attitude by launching highly revolutionary Nokia Lumia 920.

Indian mobile industry also seems ready for the show. On the upside we are waiting eagerly for the abolishment of roaming charges, on the downside a hike in mobile tariffs are inevitable. Talking about OEMs, Indian players like Micromax, Karbonn, Lava are jumping in to high end phones and will give a tougher competition to International OEMs this year.

Whatever the year shows us, we promise to keep you updated as always. No matter how dynamic the mobile industry goes, we know how to keep up. The more mobiles they will throw in the market to confuse, more tools we will make to simplify.

91mobiles.com wishes you a great year ahead. Happy new year 2013 Smile
