Aircel Announced 3G Services in Sambalpur

Aircel, India's 5th largest mobile network operator launches 3G services in Orissa Sambalpur. The company has spectrum for 13 circles in India. The new launch will offer an array of services on 3G network like Video calling, Video on demand and high speed internet browsing, etc. The video calling is charged 5 paisa/sec (Rs.3/minute) for all 3G local, STD calls and while at Roaming too.


Celebrating the launch event, Mr. Bikash Kakwani, CBH, Odisha said, “We have been working very hard in getting this right and have taken every step with deliberation. This is reflected in our success in the years leading up to 2010. 3G is a natural next step. We are excited about 3G, as we see it as something that will begin to transform our lives in many ways.”

Customers who like to experience the 3G services can send an SMS 'START 3G' to 121.
