Aircel has launched three dual SIM Android smartphones for the Indian market dubbed as Magicon mNote, Magicon M1 and Magicon M2. All the three phones are manufactured by Magicon and are priced within Rs 10,000. The phones come with bundled data offer from Aircel, free 4GB card and a leather pouch from the manufacturer.
Aircel is offering talktime worth of Rs 250, SMS worth of Rs 250 and also 1GB of data free with each of these three phones. The offer is valid for three months starting from the day one buys the phone and a warranty period of 18 months is availed.
The Aircel Magicon M Note is a 5-inch phone and is priced tagged at Rs 9,999. It is powered by 1GHz dual core processor and equipped with a 8-megapixel rear camera accompanied with LED flash. The phone is fueled by a 2000 mAh battery and runs on Android 4.0 operating system.
The Aircel Magicon M2 comes for Rs 4,999. It sports 3.5-inch screen and is powered by 1GB processor. It is mounted with a 5-megapixel camera and supports 3G connectivity.
Lastly, the Aircel M1 smartphone is priced just Rs 4499 and its specifications are similar to that of M2 but without 3G connectivity support.
Considering the features, specs and prices of the phones it seems Aircel will be competing with Micromax and Karbonn smartphones. So, it may be a tough time for the carrier to push its handsets in the Indian market.
