The Indian Telecom Operators seem to be all set to celebrate International Women's Day in different style this year. Following which Aircel, MTS and Vodafone have announced special plans for women customers. This plan includes special call rates, SMS rates, beauty tips and much more.
Aircel's new and existing women customers will be benefiting with a free value added service. The customers will be subscribed to 'Beauty Tips' for free of cost for a period of one month. This Special offer is available between 8th to 14th March at leading outlets and Aircel Stores.
CDMA Operator MTS has launched a new Women MPowered Plan, which is made for providing its women customers a safe environment. MTS India Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Leonid Musatov stated, "With the incidents of crime on the rise, especially against women, the challenge is to come up with innovations to create a safer environment… Starting with Delhi, the plan is to roll out this initiative in other circles over the next few months."
Special call rates, SMS rates, calling facility at negative balance, safety tips and more are a part of MTS's offering. MTS women customers can also opt for free self defense classes by a vigilance team by dialing 678 from their MTS number.
Vodafone has also made a package for its women customers. This Package includes women's health and fitness tips, wellbeing tips and much more. Its women customers can also consult doctors over a wide range of women's health related problems.
Vodafone is also opening its 16th Angel Store on 8Th March in Kerala. Vodafone's Angel Store is managed and run by only women employees.
