Airtel offers free incoming calls in roaming for Rs 5 per day

India’s largest telecom company Bharti Airtel launched a new roaming pack for its prepaid users which enables the customers to get free incoming calls during roaming for an expense of Rs 5 per day only. Under this plan, users can enjoy free incoming calls and 1.5p/sec outgoing calls for a  day for Rs 5 only. To activate this service users will have to sms ROAM to 121.


Additionally, there is a monthly pack available as well which will give you incoming calls free but you will have to pay 1.5p/sec for outgoing calls in roaming. The monthly pack costs Rs 79/month only.

Airtel has also introduced a monthly roaming pack for postpaid users which provides same benefits to them for a price of Rs.75/months only.

The company has also introduced 3 new postpaid plans namely Roaming Tariff Plan 99, Roaming free incoming plan 99 and Travel mate 499. Under the Roaming Tariff plan 99 you need to pay Rs 0.75/minute for incoming, while the incoming is free in Roaming free incoming plan 99 and Travel mate 499.
