Airtel announced the launch of 3G services in Kolkata and services will be available for customers starting midnight on 4 August 2011. Kolkata is a leading Business centre in India and is a hub for Commerce and Finance. Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company have successfully hosted the 3G services in 50 plus towns across India. Along with that, the company operates in 19 countries across Asia and Africa.
