Airtel to launch 4G in Delhi soon, Mumbai to follow

|August 5 2013 |Mobile Operators

Last thing we heard about Airtel 4G was its launch in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula. The company at that time hinted to start its 4G services soon in Metro cities like New Delhi and Mumbai. Seems they are going to honor their words now.

If the latest buzz is to be believed, Airtel is planning to roll out 4G in Delhi next month. However, like its 4G services in other circles (Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune and Chandigarh), this would also be a dongle only service. People always on run might find this service useful as it offers a really high speed internet access on the move via 4G dongles. Airtel also offers a 4G compatible Wi-Fi router in other states. Let's see if it offers both the devices in Delhi as well.

After Delhi, Airtel has plans to roll out 4G service in Mumbai, Haryana and Kerala.
