Despite of having some great phones in its portfolio of Android devices, Alcatel is yet to get a fair share in the industry. But that doesn’t stop Alcatel from adding more devices to its product range. Seems Alcatel is trying hard not to go unnoticed this IFA.

By the debut of IFA 2013, Alcatel had already announced 4 new Android mobiles ranging from mid level price range to high end flagship level smartphones. The newly launched mobiles are Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini, Idol S, Idol Alpha and the One Touch Hero.

Cheapest of the lot, Alcatel One Touch Mini has specifications equal to a mid range Android mobile phone. It sports a 4.3 inch, 480x854 pixels, capacitive touch display powered by 1.2 GHz Dual Core Processor and 512MB Ram. It comes with a 5 Mega pixel camera and comes in both Single SIM and dual SIM variant. Alcatel One Touch Mini has been fueled by 1700 mAH battery and comes in four colors.

Alcatel One Touch Idol S, second of the lot, sports a 4.7 inch HD IPS display running Android 4.2 and powered by 1.2 GHz processor and 1GB Ram. It features an inbuilt storage of 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB. On the camera front, it has 8MP rear camera with LED flash and the capability to record Full HD videos. Alcatel One Touch Idol S also has a 1.3 MP front camera to facilitate video calling.

Alcatel_Idol_AlphaNext one, Alcatel One Touch Idol Alpha, comes with a bit of high-end characteristics. Its curved metallic body packs the same 4.7 inch HD IPS display we saw in Idol S but that’s where similarity stops. The device runs on 1.2 GHz Quad core processor along with 1GB Ram and packs a 13 MP camera to lure shutterbugs. The internal memory is 16GB with and option to expand.

One_Touch_HeroThe main hero of the series is the Alcatel One Touch Hero which directly takes on the Samsung Galaxy Note series. The 6 inch full-HD display is packed in a shiny curved casing to give the device an elegant and premium look. It comes with a stylus and a range of mind blowing accessories like flip cover with embedded LED plus e-Ink display, projector and a cable to mirror the display on television.

Alcatel One Touch Hero comes with Wireless charging and packs 1.5 GHz Quad core processor along with 2GB Ram to run Android 4.2 seamlessly. Other features include 13 MP camera, 3400 mAH battery and 16GB of storage. The device might go on sale later this year, but there aren’t any words on pricing yet.
