Alcatel One Touch Fire Revealed with Firefox OS

Alcatel has launched a new Smartphone, One Touch Fire, which is its first Smartphone to run Mozilla Firefox OS for Smartphones.

The Mozilla Firefox OS for Smartphones is increasing its market share. Mozilla has tied up with ZTE, Alcatel, Huawei and LG to manufacture Smartphones running on Mozilla Firefox OS.

Alcatel One Touch Fire is a stylish smartphone which will be available in seven vibrant colors. It sports 3.5 inch HVGA TN Display and will be powered by a 1GHz Processor coupled with 256MB of RAM. It houses 3.2 Megapixels Rear camera and boasts 512MB NAND flash memory. Its memory can be expanded up to 32GB using a micro SD card.

For Connectivity, it supports 3G, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS and other standard options. This Smartphone is fuelled by 1400mAH of Battery.

Mozilla Firefox OS Smartphones also feature a marketplace from where the user can download many applications. Some of them are Time Out, Terra, SporTV, SoundCloud, Pulse News and Accuweather.

It will also feature social networking apps like Facebook and Twitter. The users can also access Disney Mobile Games, EA Mobile, Marquee games, Box Cloud Storage, Nokia Maps and more on this device.

The Company is giving away a 2GB micro SD Card free in the package. Going by the Specifications, we can say that Alcatel One Touch Fire will be an affordable smartphone.

Zen has also launched a Smartphone running on Mozilla Firefox OS named as ZTE Open, which will be a straight competitor to Alcatel One Touch Fire.
