Alcatel revealed the Alcatel One Touch Scribe HD, the first device in the One Touch Scribe series to be launched at the CES 2013.
The Scribe HD comes with a 5-inch HD screen, it has a capacitive, multi-touch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and density of 294 ppi. the phone has the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, and a 1200 MHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor. the system memory is 1GB RAM.
The Scribe has a 8 megapixel LED camera with a 1.3 megapixels HD front-facing camera with the features of Auto focus, Face detection, Digital zoom, Geo tagging.
Connectivity wise the Scribe has Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-fi, Wi-Fi Direct, dual band Wi-Fi, micro USB, DLNA, GPRS/ Class 12 EDGE, A-GPS support with Google Maps, GLONASS
The phablet has an inbuilt memory of 4GB which is further expandable up to 32GB using SD card. The phablet has a 2,500mAh battery and will come with an optional capacitive stylus and some dedicated Apps such as Notebook and Movie editor to take it’s advantage.
The Scribe HD is basically a music phone that comes with SRS Sound Enhancement and has some specialized apps such as a notebook and movie editor. Design Wise, the device has a unibody shell with shiny finish.
Scribe X will be loaded with full-feature movie-editor, photo-editor and will have the ability to wirelessly connect your phone to a TV.
The One Touch HD is likely to arrive in China this month but there is no news of its Indian release or its price.
