Alleged HTC One successor surfaced online with photos, rumored to come with Snapdragon 800

Alleged images of HTC M8, a successor to HTC One flagship have leaked online. ePrice Taiwan has posted these images showing the metal back panel of the phone in Blue color. HTC M7 was the codename company used for this year’s flagship smartphone, the HTC One. Considering this, HTC M8 is expected to be the next year’s star from the Taiwanese smartphone maker.

It looks a lot like its predecessor but will not be carrying the Beats Audio technology due to an issue between both the companies.

The alleged photos of the HTC M8 shows that the next flagship phone from HTC will look radically similar to the HTC One and it’s all other siblings. The authenticity of these pictures could not be verified at the moment, even the source also seems to be slightly skeptical about them. So, as of now, take this news with a pinch of salt only.

The next flagship from HTC is rumored to pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon quad-core 800 chipset along with 3GB of RAM to deliver smooth processing. It is also expected to arrive with HTC Sense 6.0 user-interface. Previous reports suggest that HTC M8 will be featuring a 5 or 5.2-inch HD display. It is also reported to feature finger print sensor, but its position will not be same as the recently launched HTC One Max.

The touch sensor is reportedly placed at the top of the back panel instead below the rear camera. It is expected to be announced at the MWC 2014. Other details regarding the phone are still a mystery at this point.
