Angry Birds Rio - New game from Rovio this April

Fox Studios will be launching a full-length animated feature film based on Macaw birds called as Rio this March 2011. Rio is a movie based on Macaw birds which are considered as very rare. The story is about Blu, a domesticated macaw from small town called minessota. Blu has not learnt to fly. Blu lives with his owner and best friend called Linda. Linda and Blue both think that Blu is the last of his kind. But they soon learn about another Macaw bird that lives in Rio-de-Janeiro in Brazil. They head towards to Rio to find another macaw called Jewel, Blu's female counterpart. Blu meets Jewel and they both flirt with each other. Just then, group of animal smugglers kidnap both blue macaw birds. How Blu with the help of Jewel and other city birds escape and how blu learns to fly forms the rest of the story. Rio Movie Trailer

Rovio, the producers of angry birds game have partnered with Fox Studio and has come up with next version of Angry birds called "Angry Birds Rio". The gameplay is based on the movie Rio and is adapted. This is what Rovio had to say about the new game. "the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the upcoming Fox motion picture, Rio. Angry Birds Rio will pair the physics-based gameplay of the original game with unique twists based on the highly-anticipated film."


Angry Birds Rio will launch with 45 dedicated levels and Rovio will keep adding new levels regularly. This new game is expected to be available by April 2011. Hail Angry birds :)
