Apple iPad Mini Retina display now available at Apple online store in major global markets

The much-awaited Apple iPad Mini with Retina display is now available to purchase in US and other markets. Part of the first wave of the official launch, company has started selling the tablet on its Online Store in major global markets. In US, Apple will deliver the device in one to three business days starting from November 20 – November 22.

The tablet is currently available in Austria, Canada, Australia, Czech Republic, Belgium, China, France, Denmark, Hong-Kong, Finland, Hungary, Germany, Japan, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, Norway, Singapore, Switzerland, US, Sweden and UK. However, there is no word when it will be available in India but we won’t be surprised if the launch date in the country is pushed to early January 2014.

To remind you, features wise, Apple iPad Mini with Retina is having 7.9 inch diagonal LED-backlit multi-touch display with the resolution of 2048*1536 pixels and offers 326 pixels per inch density. It is powered by a faster A7 chip with 64bit architecture along with M7 motion processor just like Apple iPad Air. It comes in 16/32/64 and 128 GB internal storage models, making it the first Apple tablet to come with such massive storage.

It is listed in the US Apple online store for $399 for 16 GB WiFi only model and $529 for WiFi+Cellular variant. Apple is reported to be having production problems for the Apple iPad Mini with its retina display, so first it would probably like to focus on critical markets to provide enough stock for the crucial holiday season.
