Apple launches iOS 6 Beta 2 for developers

ios-6-beta-2Apple has launched its much awaited iOS 6.0 Beta 2 update in the wick of the moment. This update was expected to be released in the first week of July, but Apple shortened the period and pushed it for the developers. Apple notified the developers using the iOS 6 Beta 1 through an OTA (Over The Air) update. This update came at about 9:45 pm ET on 24th June, 2012. The following message alert appeared: “Software Update: iOS 6 Beta 2 is now available for your iPhone”.

The iOS 6 Beta 2 update has been launched with the objective to fix the software’s bugs properly. According to MacRumors, iOS 6 Beta 2 is labeled as build 10A5338d while the Beta 1 version was labeled as build 10A5316k. While you will be downloading the new Beta 2 update, you will notice a stylish spiffy animation in the gears in the Setting icons. There are lots of useful features which Beta 2.0 comes up with. Some of the notable ones are: a Shared Photo Streams toggle, new Twitter icon, new TweetSheet in Siri UI, Reading List syncing over 3G, Calendar item ending times in Notification Center and Guided Access mode.

iOS 6 Beta 2 update is compatible to work on 299 MB on iPhone 4 and 497 MB on iPad 3. The developers can easily download the update through usual means. As per the reports, Apple may come up with several new Beta 2 updates as well in time to come. So, do wait and watch for it.
