Apple officially unveils iPhone 5s with fingerprint sensor

The Cupertino tech giant has finally officially unveiled the upgraded version of Apple iPhone with new features dubbed as Apple iPhone 5s along with the low cost version of the phone for emerging markets. Finally the rumors for the extra security in the phone are true because it comes with an in-built fingerprint sensor in the home button to provide better security for the user data stored on the phone.

The fingerprint sensor in the phone is called TouchID which captures high quality image of the consumer’s fingerprint and then uses it to unlock the phone. Apple iPhone 5s will be available in three color choices including Gold, Slate and Silver. The 16GB internal storage offering model of the phone is priced for $199 in US with standard two year contract with Telecom operators.

Company has also improved the camera features of its iPhone device because the Apple iPhone 5s comes with a lot of new automatic camera features that are designed to capture better quality photos with more light. The iSight 8MP rear camera present on the phone comes with auto image stabilization which helps to capture slow-mo videos and avoids blurry pictures. It also comes with 1.2MP front facing shooter capable of 720p HD quality recording for video calls etc.

It is designed using the same aluminium materials and powered by A7 processor which is the only processor in the world that comes with 64-bit desktop-class architecture and performs twice as fast than its predecessors while rendering graphics. It will be available to buy in the Indian market by the end of 2013 around the holiday season.
