ARCHOS G9 Android Tablets blessed with Android ICS update

ARCHOS started rolling-out Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the G9 series tablets ARCHOS 80 G9 and ARCHOS 101 G9. The update was announced by the company in the month of June 2011 and is on track now. Archos 80 G9 is an 8-inch Android tablet and Archos 101 G9 is a 10.1 inch slate.

Archos-G9-androidThe Android ICS rollout will totally enhance the device interface and also offers a bunch of new hardware improvements. Few of such improvements include faster web browser, enhanced multi-tasking, rich notifications, home-screen customization, scalable widgets, and rich social media integration. While the improvements to the hardware elements include the device dynamic voice input engine and enhanced imaging capabilities. The Android update is available for G9 owners across the globe starting from today. Users could have received a notification on the device "lower right-hand side corner with letter A" So, click on the notification to get started with.
