ASUS 7 inch MeMo Pad launched

Asus has unveiled its latest offering as MeMo Pad. This is an Android tablet which will be available with a price tag of $149.


Asus MeMo Pad sports a 7 inch ten point multi touch LED-backlit display with 10247 x 600 pixel resolution. Beneath, it is powered by 1GHz VIA WM8950 CPU with a Mali-400 GPU coupled with 1 GB of RAM. This tablet runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

It carries a 1 megapixel camera on its front 720p HD video capture at 30fps. And it comes in two options. One with 8GB internal storage capacity and the other is offering 16GB of internal storage capacity. It also does offers 5GB of ASUS Web Storage.

On Connectivity fronts, it carries Wi-fi, microUSB, G-Sensors, microphone and 3.5mm headphone jack.This tablet is fuelled by 4,270mAh battery which promises 7 hours of run.

Asus MeMo Pad is available in three bright colours, in Sugar White, Titanium Gray and Cherry Pink. The specifications, features and a low price tag of $149, makes this tab a straight competitor to Google Nexus 7.

It offers a full support for Google Play enabling you to download over 750,000 apps and games, browse eBook store and many more.

It also comes with many pre installed Asus Apps like SuperNote Lite, ASUS WebStorage, ASUS WebStorage Online Office, ASUS Studio, BuddyBuzz, MyPainter and MyBitCast. Asus Memo Pad weighs just 370g.

Currently, Asus has not shared any plans about the launch of this tab in Asia and other continents. But we are expecting its launch in India soon.
