Asus launches 10.1-inch Memo Pad Smart

Asus has launched its 10.1 inch Memo Pad Smart in a Mobile Expo held at Thailand. This Tablet was rumored from last few weeks and Asus finally launched this tab. Asus was earlier reported to launch this tablet at upcoming Mobile World Congress 2013 going to hit the floors in Barcelona, Spain.



Asus Memo Pad Smart sports a 10.1 inch WXGA IPS Display and is powered by 1.2GHz Tegra 3 Quad Core Processor with 1 GB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean Operating System.

It packs a 5 Megapixel Rear Camera and a 1.2 Megapixel Front Camera for video calls. For storage needs, this tablet boasts 16 GB of internal storage capacity.

Asus Memo Pad Smart comes with many Preloaded Apps like SuperNote lite, WebStorage Office, App Backup and App Locker. These were also seen in Asus Memo Pad 7.

This tab comes in three vibrant colors including White, Blue & Pink. This Tablet is launched with a price tag of 10,900 baht in Thailand which is equal to approximately $366.

Asus earlier launched its Memo Pad 7, and its 10.1 inch tab was spotted many times on the Internet. Now after its launch in Thailand, it is also spotted selling in Germany.

Currently there are no official report about the launching of this tablet in other countries but we are expecting that Asus may be gearing up for launches in other countries. This tablet will directly compete with Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.
