Asus today official launched PadFone Infinity is a LTE (Long Based Evolution) smartphone offered with a 5-inch Full HD Display with a metallic design. The smartphone transforms to a 10.1-inch tablet when it is docked on the PadFone infinity station at the MWC 2013 which is actually the third edition of the PadFone.
Asus launched PadFone 2 during October 2012 and the latest model is based on smartphone-tablet hybrid with improved specifications on both design as well as hardware to the PadFone 2. "PadFone Infinity is the latest evolution of our PadFone line," said Jonney Shih, Asus Chairman. "It combines incredible design with an uncompromised user experience derived from our Design Thinking philosophy."
The new Asus PadFone Infinity that comes with Android 4.2, the latest version of the OS, powered by a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor, and an Adreno 320 Graphics processor with 2GB RAM and offers 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The PadFone also supports LTE connectivity and NFC. The new PadFone 5-inch screen features resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels with a pixel density of 441 pixels-per-inch, while the tablet's version 10.1-inch screen will have a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels.
The PadFone Infinity offered with a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.0, 5-element lens as mentioned by the company that captures images in detailed with zero shutter lag. This device will have a 2400mAh battery that should get you on hold up to 19 hours of 3G talk time and up to 40 hours of talk time when docked with the PadFone Infinity docking station.
This is to believe that Asus will have a tentative price of 700 pounds for the PadFone Infinity and Infinity Station and no information on the launch date, price information or availability in India.
