|June 15 2010 |

AT&T is going to launch Aria with the Three Tenors - HTC, Android and Sense UI. The HTC Aria is a cousin to the HTC HD mini in hardware specifications, but it is replaced by new OS as regards the software. The HTC Aria (previously known as HTC Liberty) packs almost the same hardware as the HTC HD mini - a 3.2" HVGA capacitive touchscreen, 5MP camera and 3G connectivity in a compact body with 256 million colour resolution. It has a 600MHz CPU and has 384MB or RAM - which is exactly same as its Android sibling - the HTC Legend. The fundamental difference between the HTC Aria and the HD mini is the OS - the Aria has an Android 2.1 version. There are a few other changes as well – it boasts of a different set of hardware keys and there is an addition of an optical trackpad. The HTC Aria offers a quad-band GSM/EDGE and 3G with HSPA along with Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS facility. It has a microSD card slot for memory expansion upto 32 GB and there's a 2GB card in the box for you to get started. The 1200mAh Li-Ion battery provides for 6 hours of talk time or up to 15 days and a half of standby. The HTC Aria will hit the stores on June 20 for 230 US dollars with a two-year contract and a smartphone data plan. The other essential specifications are 3.5 mm audio jack, 512 MB ROM and 384 MB RAM, geo-tagging, face detection, java support with third party application and many more.HTC Aria
