Blackberry launches Z10 and Q10

After a long wait RIM has officially launched its latest BlackBerry 10 OS running Smartphones known as BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Q10.


Research in Motion (RIM) which will now be known as BlackBerry launched these two Smartphones yesterday.

As both these Smartphones run on latest BlackBerry 10 Operating System, it offers a bunch of new features.

BlackBerry Z10 is the first full touch Smartphone running on BlackBerry 10 Operating System. It sports a 4.2 inch LCD Touch Screen, producing a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels at 356 pixels per inch.


This Smartphone is powered by 1.5GHz Dual Core Processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.

It houses an 8 Megapixels Rear Camera, which can record 1080p Full HD Videos and a 2 Megapixel Camera in the front for Video calls. It boasts 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by using a microSD Card.

On connectivity front, it supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, microHDMI and microUSB.

BlackBerry Z10 is fuelled by 1,800mAh battery.

The Second Smartphone, BlackBerry Q10 boasts a Physical QWERTY keyboard and also a 3.1 inch AMOLED Touchscreen producing 720 x 720 pixel resolution.


BlackBerry Q10 is powered by a 1.5GHZ Dual Core Processor with 2GB of RAM. It also houses an 8 Megapixel Rear Camera and 2 Megapixel front Camera.

This smartphone also houses 16GB of internal memory, which can be expanded by using a microSD card.

On Papers, both the devices look just great but it would be interesting to see whether these two can face the tough competition of Google's Android Smartphones and latest Windows 8 Smartphones.
