BlackBerry Q5 officially launches in India for Rs.24990

BlackBerry has finally launched the much awaited BlackBerry Q5 smartphone in the Indian market for Rs. 24,990. It will be available to buy in the stores across the country from July 20th. It is the second smartphone from the company that comes with full QWERTY keypad and runs on the latest BlackBerry 10 operating system. Company first showcased the phone in the BlackBerry Live Conference in May this year and it took a lot of time to announce the phone in the country.

BlackBerry Q5 comes with a 3.1touch screen display along with full QWERTY keyboard and 720*720 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor along with 2GB of RAM memory. It is having 8GB of internal storage along with microSd card support up to 32GB. The phone comes with 5MP of rear and 2MP of front cameras and it is powered by a 2180mAh battery.

BlackBerry is also going to introduce some EMI options for the smartphone in the Indian market. Company is already offering EMI offers for the recently launched smartphone BlackBerry Z10. It is also offering a special exchange offer which allows the customers to get up to Rs. 11,000 discount on the purchase of this full touch screen device.
