Currently BSNL is offering Data Plan between Rs 10 and Rs 3000 in the Kerala circle. Suppose anyone wants to recharge with Rs 50 to get 100 MB of 3G data for 7 days the SMS is to be sent in the below format :

SMS DATA50 to 53733

Here the amount of Rs 50 will be deducted from the main balance of the BSNL connection. The only requirement for SMS based 3G Data Voucher activation is to have enough balance in their prepaid account or main talktime account.

Earlier, this SMS based 3G recharge was introduced in Chennai, West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and some other circles by BSNL, and it is running successfully.
