The Indian tech manufacturer, Byond has now rolled out a new 5-inch smartphone in the market in order to expand its existing product line-up. The newly launched smartphone, B65 has been priced at Rs. 9,200.

Byond B65 sports a 5-inch WVGA display screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. Running on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) OS it gets powered with a 1.2GHz Dual-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. This Dual-SIM device packs an 8MP Rear Camera with LED flash and a 1.3MP Front-facing camera for video calling. It houses an internal memory of 4GB of which 2GB is user available. The various other features of the smart device includes a 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Proximity sensor, Gravity sensor and a 2,400 mAh battery.

The B65 smartphone possesses most of the common features exhibited by devices today. The pricing of the device also does not bring any luring element. The only thing that seems to be an attractive part of the device is its massive battery which is slightly more powerful than the average batteries accompanying the devices in this segment. It might be a challenging task for the Indian manufacturer to attract its buyers towards its new innovation as there are already its rivals like Karbonn, Lava, Zync and Micromax present in the market with similar devices.

We may expect the Byond B65 to face a tough competition from Zync Cloud Z5, Lava Iris 502, Karbonn Smart A111, Intex Aqua 5.0 and Micromax Canvas 2 A110 available in the same price range.
