The manufacturer very much into the talks for its upcoming touch Android smartphone, Caterpillar has rolled out its new innovation into the market. The newly launched smartphone has got its name dubbed as Cat B15.
Caterpillar has got the IP-67 certification for the Cat B15 smartphone and thus, it is quite clear that the device is capable of resisting adverse damages from water, dust as well as impact. The Cat B15 faces water immersion up to a depth of 1 meter for long duration of 30 minutes and also, tolerates the impact of falling from a height of 1.8 meter on even concrete floors. Caterpillar has also made the device dust-proof by providing it with a special surface for dust protection.
Moving to the spec sheet of the Cat B15, we have a 4-inch display with gorilla glass and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It get powered with a 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor coupled with 512MB of RAM. It packs a 5MP Rear Camera along with a VGA Front Camera for video chats. It houses an internal memory of 4GB which may also be externally up to 32GB via Micro SD Card. The other features of the stubborn smartphone includes 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS.
