Celkon Campus A63 launches for Rs.4499 with dual core processor

Celkon has launched a new Android based smartphone in India dubbed as Celkon Campus A63 for Rs. 4,499. It is part of the Celkon Campus series smartphones that are specially targeted for the college students in the country. The phone is running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system version which is quite impressive feature in an entry level smartphone.


Features wise, Celkon Campus A63 comes with a 4-inch WVGA touch screen display with the resolution of 480*800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor along with 256MB of RAM memory. It is a dual SIM smartphone with GSM + GSM network support. It comes with 512MB of internal storage that is expendable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. It is having 3.2MP rear camera along with a VGA front shooter.

Connectivity wise it offers Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS features but doesn’t come with 3G network support. The phone is powered by a 1500mAh battery and company is offering a free back cover with the phone. Celkon is also going to announce more devices in the same series with entry level price tag in the coming weeks.

Core features of the Celkon Campus A63 are decent enough to provide good smartphone experience. Previously company launched two budget Android phones in the country including Celkon A107 Signature One for Rs. 6,999 and Celkon A9+ for Rs. 3,299. So, the smartphone buyers in the Indian market are now having a lot of choices in the entry level segment with decent features.
