Celkon launches Campus A20 Android smartphone for Rs.5299

Celkon has launched a new Android based smartphone in the country dubbed as Celkon Campus A20 for Rs. 5,299. It is the latest device joining the budget range of smartphones in the Campus series by Celkon. Recently company also launched Celkon Campus A63 last week with similar features in the same series but it was lacking the 3G connectivity support.

Features wise the latest entry in the Celkon Campus series comes with a 4 inch capacitive touch screen display with the resolution of 480 * 800 pixels. It is running the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual core processor along with 256MB of RAM memory and 1500mAh battery. It comes with 512MB of internal storage which is further expendable up to 32GB via external microSD card.

It is a dual SIM device with WCDMA + GSM network support and one of the SIM slot can be used with a 3G SIM. Connectivity features of the phone include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS options. It comes with 3.2MP rear camera with LED Flash that captures normal quality photos and it also comes with 0.3MP front facing shooter for video calling.

Celkon is also offering a free back cover with the Celkon Campus A20 Android smartphone. There is hardly anything special about the latest Celkon device but the budget buyers in India now have even more choices. However, latest decent offering from the company is Celkon Signature A107+ which was launched a few days back for Rs. 7.299 in the country.
