Domo Slate X2G tablet with 7inch display launches in India for Rs.5990

Indian vendor Domo has launched a new affordable tablet in the Indian market dubbed as Domo Slate X2G for Rs. 5,990. It is a 7inch screen device that is powered by a 1.2Ghz processor along with 512MB of RAM. The tablet also comes with a SIM slot for voice calling options and a USB port to use 3G dongle for internet connectivity. Features of the tablet are simple because it is targeted for the entry level buyers in the Indian market.

It is going to compete against other affordable tablets in the Indian market like Swipe Halo Value Tab and Videocon VT 75C. It comes with Android 4.0.4 ICS version, which is quite an older version of the OS but the users will be able to upgrade it to Jelly Bean version of Android. Core features of the tab are simple but company has managed to put a decent 3200mAh battery in the device.
