Evernote for Windows Phone update brings PIN Lock and Business support

Window’s Evernote, its popular note taking app has been updated to version 2.5.4. The new update will include note creation and searching via Business Notebooks. Evernote is a free app on Windows Phone Store.

The update will allow users to create searchable Business Notebooks and Personal Notebooks. Premium Evernote users will have PIN Lock making the app more secure. The PIN Lock gets activated automatically after ten minutes of inactivity.
Users can create a new note while viewing a Business Notebook or tap on the notebook name on the top of a note that they are editing.

They can also move their existing notes into Business Notebooks using this method. Also, users can search through their Business Notebooks and also those that others have shared with them from the Search screen by choosing Business Notebooks from the dropdown menu.

Using the Joined Notebook feature, users will be able to see if someone has shared a Personal Notebook or a Business Notebook.

The update also offers styled text support is now available including bulleted and numbered lists and editing of bold and italic text right in-line without the need to rely on section by section editing.

Another feature on the updated app is Joined Notebooks. Evernote users can now see notebooks that they have joined in their notebooks list. With the updated app, users will be able to see if someone has shared a Personal Notebook or a Business Notebook.

All in all, the update brings a handful of features that will make Evernote a little more user friendly and versatile.
