You can now chat without signing into the Facebook Website with the help of this app on your XP and Vista. You can also accept new friend’s requests as well as view tagged photos.

More to all these, the app is easy to use and it sits in the system tray of your PC and lists all your friends. When your friend send a chat message, a pop up chat window appears on the screen and you can start enjoying chat with your friend.

Few months ago the Facebook Messenger also was upgraded for the Android and iOS platforms. It facilitated showing whether your sent messages have been read by the recipient and also show whether the other person is typing on the chat window. The upgrade also shows 'read receipts' specifying which people in a group have read the messages.

Facebook users have grown to a great height in last two years and the social giant has tried attracting Indian users by integrating the network with different mobile and desktop platforms.
