The U.K. based mobile phone making company gave its Indian customers an all new smartphone dubbed as Fly F351 at a price of just Rs 4,599.

The new device poses a 3.5-inch HVGA display of resolution of 320X480 pixels and is powered by 1GHz processor with 256MB RAM. It runs on OS Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread.

F351 poses a 3.0-megapixel rear camera with flash and a VGA front facing camera with all basic camera features. The internal storage available on the device is 512MB and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.

On connectivity front the device comes with  EDGE, Bluetooth 3.0, and Wi-Fi but no 3G. To make it a complete package F351 is packed with a 1,200mAh battery, which delivers up to 10 hours of talk time and 260 hours of standby time.

Fly Mobiles has launched three more smartphones in the past under the "F-Series" namely Fly F51, Fly F45s and Fly F40 ranging between Rs. 4,500 to Rs. 12,500.

The configuration of device is basic and similar to low cost Indo-Chinese mobiles. Micromax Bolt A26, an entry level Android mobile, features similar specification and is priced around Rs 3500 only. Only a significant price drop can make this mobile a success in the market.
