Fourth Generation Apple iPad launched in India

Apple has now officially introduced its iPad with a storage capacity of 128GB in the Indian market. The 128 GB variant of the Apple iPad features a Retina display and is expected to be available for sale starting from 5th February.

The newly launched iPad from Apple sports a 9.7-inch Retina display. The device has been powered tremendously with a Apple A6X processor accompanied by 1GB of RAM. It is available in different variants namely, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of storage. The variants are available in cellular as well as Wi-Fi only models.

The fourth generation iPad from Apple packs a 5MP iSight rear camera along with a Front-facing camera. The newly launched 128GB version of the Apple iPad is not very different on the specifications front from the previously launched 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions of the device.

The 128GB version of the iPad has been launched in the market targeting educators, enterprises and artists who are expected to use the iPad taking into account the company’s expectation that the device will provide more storage room for installation of a wide variety of applications to its users.

The newly launched version of the iPad with Wi-Fi starts at Rs. 49,900 inclusive of VAT whereas the cellular model has been priced at Rs. 56,900 inclusive of VAT.

Apple, with such a device listed in its catalogue may find it quite an easy task to give an edge to the Android tablets lineup that is flooding the market right now.
