The next trendsetter seem to be the Quad-core processor and the super phone. Fujitsu envisaged the tech enthusiasts and has come up 2012 International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) with a Quad-core powered Superphone prototype. The new Superphone is dust-proof, waterproof device powered with 1.2Ghz NVIDIA's Tegra-3 Quad-core processor on board.
Fujitsu Superphone comes with a 4.6 inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with 1280x 720 pixels resolution. The prototype is running on Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with 4GB RAM on-board. However, the actual device is expected with 1GB RAM as the spokesperson claimed. The device equipped with a 13.1 Megapixel rear-facing camera which is capable of cranking its ISO to 25600 !!! The device proto was ported to an HDTV via Mini USB to HDMI port and the response looks quite friendly. The actual device launch is expected in early summer and this is for Japanese market. There is no word about the International launch by the way.
