Gaana app now on Windows OS Smartphones

The very favorite multi-language music streaming website from Indiatimes, Gaana.com has launched its app for the Windows platform at Microsoft’s TechEd 2013 event hosted at Bangalore yesterday.

Gaana is a music streaming app which has a collection of more than one million songs in its library. Gaana.com, being India’s largest music website possesses a media track database of English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and a 21 other languages.

With the launch of the app for Windows OS, Gaana will now be available for the smartphones running on Windows 7 and 8 platforms. The music streaming app was already available on iOS, Android, Java and Blackberry platforms for free.

Gaana app for Windows OS features most of the similar features that the app features on the other platforms such as radio, playlists and favorites including many others. One exclusive feature that the app has for the Windows platform is the integration with Live Tiles that offers the user to provide song details simply on the homescreen.

Windows Phone users can now download the Gaana app for free from the Windows Phone Store.
