Launching the event successfully, Martin Kotulla, CEO SoftMaker says, "We decided to work with the non-profit organization betterplace.org that consolidates charity and development projects from around the word. Aid workers from all countries present their projects there, and we are certain that our donations reach them."

Until December 24, SoftMaker plans to complete at least one charity project every day. Each download helps increase the amount that is donated by SoftMaker. Full transparency is ensured: The campaign web site tracks all supported help projects.

SoftMaker FreeOffice major attractions is its seamless compatibility with Microsoft Office: It allows the users to Create, Open, Edit the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files without hiccups. The application also includes the old binary Microsoft formats and the modern XML formats DOCX, XLSX, and PPTX. Above all, the SoftMaker Office application is reliable, fast, and easy-to-use.
