Getit, the company which provides local search facility and free classifieds services in India, has announced the official release of the Getit Local Search Mobile app for Indian users. The app can be downloaded from the Mobango app store, which happens to be one of the world’s largest independent app stores with 6 million registered users. The app is available for all platforms like Android, iOS, Java, Blackberry, Symbian etc.

The Getit application will not only provide simple keyword based search but would also allow users to search for restaurants, hotels, real estate, Taxi/Cab services, repair works, and many more services within the vicinity of their location, by using the GPS functionality of mobiles. The Getit Local Search app automatically detects your current location using GPS, provides quick links to popular categories, filters your search based on attributes and location, shows an interactive map with directions, provides click to call feature, and lets you share your business contacts through SMS and email too.

According to Badri Sanjeevi, chief operating officer at Mobango, Getit's mobile app gives you the benefit of local search and listing services. Using GPS facility, users of this app are provided with information about relevant local services.

Consumers can get access to instant information anytime and anywhere on their mobile phones since the application supports all mobile platforms like BlackBerry, Android, Symbian, iOS and Java.

You can download the Getit Local Search app on your mobile phone from the Mobango app store or you can just follow this link.
