SWIPE Telecom, a California-based tech company, is coming up with two new tablets in the Indian market under its Voice Calling Tablet Smartphone series. The two devices are dubbed as Halo 3G tab and Halo edge. The former is first 7-inch smartphone tablet in the country and later comes with 'Edge Technology'.
Halo 3G is tagged at Rs 9999 while the other one is priced Rs 8999.
Both the devices run on Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich (ICS) operating system, and powered by 1 GB DDR3 of RAM. Both comes with a Boxchip A10 processor 1.5 GHz (Cumulative Frequency) to boost up the the tab function further. Again, both gadgets sport a 7" TFT LCD Screen, packed in a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
Both the gadgets have strong body, and come in grey colour and glossy finish.
There are other features that need to be mentioned. Halo 3G and Halo Edge sports a full HD touch screen, a 5 point Multi-touch, with backlit LED navigation buttons on the front. The two also features sim slot to offer connectivity via 3G or 2G SIM.
The Halo Edge Tablet is a game changer in its space. It comes with the 'Edge Technology' to deliver higher bit-rates per radio channel. With this there is three-fold increase in capacity and performance, as compared with an ordinary GSM/GRPS connection.
Apart from voice calling, Edge tablet can be relative to any packet switched application. For example, such as an Internet connection which allows faster surfing compared to its colleagues in the techno market.
Halo Edge Tablet has highly enhanced display having a 5 point Multi-touch Full HD Capacity Touch SCREEN. It is powered by a Boxchip A10 processor 1.5 GHz, and has 4GB inbuilt memory that is expandable up to 32GB. There is provision for video chatting too with the help of 2MP front camera.
