|January 19 2013 |Tablets

The new Tablet from Hindustan Computers Limited called the new ME Y3 Dual SIM Tablet is available online for sale. HCL has not officially launched this Tablet and therefore this one is expected to be a silent launch.

HCL ME Y3 sports a 7.0 inch, 1024 x 600p capacitive touch screen. Its large screen offers and impressive display along with high resolution images for enhanced clarity. The Tablet runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System and is powered by a 1.0 GHz Cortex A9 processor with 1GB RAM. The powerful processor provides a strong support for multi tasking features and ensures smooth performance.

The Tablet comes with voice calling feature as well. The device has a 2.0 MP rear camera as well as a 0.3MP front camera. The device has an average camera and this one of its demerits. HCL ME Y3 has 4GB of internal storage capacity that is expandable up to 32GB via a micro SD card. This will provide sufficient storage space for your favourite musical tracks and videos along with games.

On the connectivity front it supports 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity.

The Tablet is powered by a 3100 mah battery. This provides a strong backup support for the Tablet.

HCL ME Y3 is available at a price of Rs 11999. With this price it does seem to be an affordable Tablet and is expected to give a stiff competition to Micromax and other manufacturers of Tablets in India.
