The HCL ME Y3 Tablet is equipped with a 7-inch Android and sports a professional appeal with rugged build. The outer core of the tablet is rigid with refined finish. The tablet is designed to perfection with matte finish silver back with black edges. The tablet on the whole is pretty eye catchy. The rear panel is designed with a speaker grille, reset button and 3.2MP camera. The only drawback here is it appears messy with lot of markings for ports, model number and company logo. The tablet just appears a bit untidy, but overall a decent look. On the right side is the mini HDMI port, mini USB PC interface and charging port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and vent for the microphone. On the top there is a power and volume button with compartments for microSD card slot and two SIM cards. The tablet has a dimension of 11mm in thickness with a weight of 322.5 grams. The Y3 is fitted with an ARM Cortex A9 processor which operates at 1GHz and houses a PowerVR SGX531 graphics processor. The system is also rolled out with 1GB of DDR3 RAM and internal storage of 4GB. The installed operating system is termed Google’s Android ICS v4.0.4. The tablet has an excellent battery durability of 3100mAh.
