"The feature will be available across all major platforms including iOS, Android, and Windows"

WhatsApp announced its video calling feature at an event hosted in India. Available in beta up until now, the new feature is another step towards turning the instant messaging app into a wholesome package. Earlier, the Facebook-owned company had announced features like two-step verification, GIF support, and more. The company says that the new video calling feature is optimised to work in regions which suffer from issues like low internet connectivity. The app also lets you multi-task while video calling someone, and offers a couple of other interesting features as well. You can check for the app update to avail the new feature. Meanwhile, here's a quick video demo of the new video calling feature on WhatsApp showing how you can use it.
