HP announces Slate 7 HD, Slate 10 HD and Slate 8 Pro Android tablets

In addition to the re-branded NVIDIA Tegra Note tablet dubbed as HP Slate 7 Extreme, company has also unveiled three new Android tablets dubbed as HP Slate 8 Pro, HP Slate 7 HD and HP Slate 10 HD. All of these devices are targeted for the buyers with different screen taste in their tablets. Price and availability details of these devices are still a mystery at the moment, but sources suggest these devices will be released around November 2013.

HP Slate 8 Pro



HP Slate 8 Pro sports a 7.98 touch screen display with the resolution of 1600*1200 pixels which sets it in the competition to the Apple iPad Mini because of immersive media viewing experience with higher pixels. It is powered by a powerful NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor. It comes with 8MP rear and 2MP front facing cameras. It also offers microSD card slot, micro HDMI and micro USB ports connectivity. It is expected to be running on the Android 4.2.2 version as the exact version is not revealed at the moment.

HP Slate 7 HD



Coming to the HP Slate 7 HD and HP Slate 10 HD, both of these devices offer the same 1280*800 pixels resolution and run on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system version. Both of the tablets are powered by the same dual core Marvell PXA986 processor and offer 3G&4G connectivity support. These two devices also offer Beats Audio technology support for better sound experience.

HP Slate 10 HD



HP has also pre-loaded these devices with HP Connect Photo and HP Connect Music applications. Now HP is having total six Android tablets in its portfolio including the latest 4 devices and the original HP Slate 7 and bit older HP Slatebook X2.
