The HP ElitePad 900 has been launched by the PC giant at a price tag of Rs. 43,500. The company has been promoting the device as a business tablet since it was first revealed.
Sunish Raghavan, Head, HP India, Printing and Personal Systems Group (Commercial PC Category), said that, "HP ElitePad 900 is an ultra-thin, lightweight tablet designed for Windows 8. It is the device that can help the enterprise workforce to be more productive while ensuring security aspects."
The ElitePad 900 runs on the Windows 8 operating system and has a 10.1-inch LED IPS Multi Touch Screen display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. The device is powered by the next gen 1.8 GHz dual core Intel Atom Clover Trail processor with 2GB of RAM that will offer PC productivity for existing business application support on a tablet.
The device will be available in 32GB and 64GB internal memory options. It has a 8MP rear camera and a 1080 pixels front camera. The device offers all the latest connectivity options including 4G and NFC beside the regular ones.
The tablet is packaged with productivity enhancing ecosystem and optional HP Smart Jacket that comes attached with and integrated keyboard, connectivity ports, SD card reader and adjustable viewing angles, and other additional accessories, that have been specifically designed for the device.
Also, apart from the 25Whr battery pack that comes attached with the device, HP is providing a spare battery worth Rs. 5000 that will give an additional 11 hours back up.
The device promises a great office suite at a competitive price which will be suitable for work and play while you are on the go.
