The HP Omni 10 offers a quad-core Intel processor, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, an 8MP camera and 9 hours of battery life.
In addition to launching two Android voice-calling phablets, the HP Slate 6 and Slate 7, HP has also introduced a Windows tablet, the HP Omni 10, in India today.
The HP Omni 10 runs Windows 8.1 (32bit) and is powered by a 1.46GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3770 processor and 2GB DDR3 RAM. It features a 10-inch multi-touch full HD display, coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches. There is 32GB of inbuilt storage expandable via a microSD card. The tablet sports an 8MP rear-facing camera with auto-focus and a 2MP front shooter with an LED webcam indicator.
The Omni 10 is equipped with a microHDMI port, microUSB port, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi for connectivity, and also features Miracast screen-mirroring technology. Other features include 8.5 hours of battery life, stereo speakers, HP Premium Sound and an internal digital microphone.
Apart from Office Home and Student 2013, the tablet comes with free software like HP Connected Photo by Snapfish to sync photos across PCs, smartphones and tablets, HP Connected Music to discover music from multiple sources, and HP Print to virtually print from anywhere.
HP is also offering 25GB of free lifetime cloud storage from Box with the tablet. The HP Omni 10 is priced at Rs 25,990, but availability details are still unknown at the moment.
